“Noche Sin Día”, the first single from the upcoming Il Volo album will be entirely in Spanish. The album is produced by Emilio Estefan, multiple winner of 19 GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY®, and was recorded at Crescent Moon Studios, Miami.
The message of “Night Without Day” inspires us to see the positive side of life: “There is no night without day, there is no rain without water, what would life be, if love would not exist”.
Il Volo ventures into the Latin American music market with a song where urban rhythms fuse with pop sounds. The group enjoyed the big time during the recording of the single and the music video together with the award-winning Cuban duo, Gente De Zona.
“It has been incredible to work on this song with an icon of Latin music like Emilio Estefan,” says Il Volo, whose members are tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto, and the baritone Gianluca Ginoble. “Together with Gente De Zona, with ‘Noche Sin Día’ we intend to convey our idea of freshness and celebration that characterizes Latin music, we have put a lot of enthusiasm in this special project for the Latin American market, a completely different proposal than what we had done previously”.
Emilio Estefan is very impressed with the love that this group has for the Hispanic culture. “When you close your eyes and listen to them, you think you are listening to a Spanish-speaking group.” Since their childhood, they have liked this music, the recording sessions were fun, they danced and jumped frequently.
